Exhibition of public art and urban design in partnership with the University of Minnesota College of Architecture and Landscape Architecture.
Street Life is the pilot youth initiative of the West Broadway Placemaking and Gateway Project a collaborative effort of Juxtaposition Arts, the West Broadway Area Coalition and the University of Minnesota Neighborhood Planning for Community Revitalization.

B-Girl Be: A Celebration of Women in Hip-Hop

The mission of B-Girl Be is to open doors to women of all ages and cultures to celebrate the accomplishments of women in all elements of hip-hop culture. This event is a place to make connections, build confidence, sharpen skills, and to gain access to the tools to create music, film, poetry, rap, aerosol art and dance.

The B-Girl Be exhibit shows off international artwork by women who paint on walls, wood, clothing, vinyl, canvas, cars, buses and more. Check out aerosol art, clothing, paintings, photographs, sculpture, illustration, video and digital expos of graf girl walls and hip-hop women around the world.
